It is in the courtyard of Köprülü Mehmet Pasha Mosque. It is surrounded by an iron fence and is placed on a stone pedestal. Indicates the time of day in Arabic numerals. It is divided into ten-minute time zones. It is possible to read the time accurately by the shadow cast of the sunlight reflected on a triangle made of brass plated with marble. As the trees on the sundial were pruned over time, a tree branch falling from above broke the marble showing the figures. Mustafa Yapıcı, a watchmaker from Safranbolu, made the lines and figures on the marble as they were and put them in place.
