TOKATLI CANYON
Getting to Tokatlı Canyon is more difficult than Safranbolu. When you come to the district center, you can easily reach it by following the signs. When you enter the canyon, which extends from one end to Tokatlı Village and the other end to Gümüş Mahallesi of the Old Bazaar, when you enter the canyon by paying 3 TL, a wonderful walking path along the river awaits you.
Waterfalls, bird chirping, refreshing fresh air and more. If you go from the direction of the Old Bazaar, you do not pay for the entrance.
There is
a nine-kilometer hiking trail in Tokatlı Canyon, which is the blue crystal terrace seen above . You will come out from the other end of the canyon in two hours with a quiet walk, enjoying the nature and breathing the clean air.
While walking in the canyon, the squirrels running around add a different joy to people. It will be good for you to get away from the chaos of the city, even for a few hours, in this naturalness.
You can ride a horse or play paintball with your friends in the canyon. If you want to take a breather, you can sit at the tables set in the shade of the trees in the canyon and have a tea brewed in a samovar for fatigue or pleasure. You can also have a barbecue if you wish.
SIRÇALI CANYON
Sircali Canyon; It was declared a Wildlife Reserve in 2001. In the canyon; roe deer, fox, wild boar, rabbit are in abundance. The canyon, consisting of Sirçalı Village, 19 km from Safranbolu, merges with Düzce Canyon and extends towards Konarı Village to the south.
There is an observation terrace in Kozcagiz Neighborhood, where this geography looks the best. The magnificence of the canyon can be seen most clearly from this terrace. In fact, if we are a little patient, we can observe a roe deer or a fox wandering in the canyon.
SAKARALAN CANYON
The water source passing through Sakaralan Canyon originates from the borders of Eflani District. The formation of the canyon starts in Yağcı Neighborhood of Sakaralan Village and extends towards Konari Village. Eflani Creek starts from Ulugeçit Village of Eflani District. While Eflani Creek is on its way to Safranbolu, it joins the Araba Stream by continuing its flow as Ayrik Creek in Pelitören Village, Bent Creek in Sakaralalan Village, and Kaya Creek between Sakaralalan Village and Konarı Village in the west.
